Within the Franco-German research project BIO ART, I investgate the mechanical properties of bio-sourced epoxies. I explore the principles of epoxy materials across the scales and disciplines and link experimental findings with numerical predictions. In this context, my work revolves around small-scale informed continuum modeling using advanced material models as well as discrete-to-continuum coupling methods, such as the Capriccio method.
